The feeling of belonging that comes from being a Bitcoiner takes many forms, here are but a few.

Reaching Higher - Bitcoin and Esteem Needs

In time as our first three levels are fully met, we strive for the next level of the hierarchy.

A word of caution, a Bitcoiner can go batshit crazy as they look to have their esteem needs met.

Some have even fallen victim to the dreaded BDS (Bitcoin derangement syndrome) in their desire to be recognized for what they’ve done in Bitcoin..

There are two sides to the esteem coin. One is our feeling about ourself, the other is the feedback we get from others.

At its core, our esteem is our feeling of “sense of self” in relation to others.

Our EGO is in play at this point and that guy is one tricky son-of-a-bitch.

Naturally, if Bitcoin has helped us grow out of old habits, we’re going to have a sense of pride and accomplishment about that. The danger comes in thinking that now it’s time to “fix Bitcoin” or “fix” other Bitcoiners.

No and No

The beauty of Bitcoin is that it’s voluntary, open source and people can come and go as they please. Nobody is in charge, and nobody can change the protocol unless they gather consensus from others.

That truth seems lost on many, who allow ego to cloud their vision.

Some decide that they know better, that they are the ones to decide what Bitcoin should be rather than what Bitcoin is…

Garbage like BSV and Bitcoin Cash come to mind immediately when considering figures in Bitcoin history who thought they knew better.

So where should we allow Bitcoin to influence us when it comes to our esteem?

Focus on how you are helping both your family and community, while at the same time hardening the Bitcoin protocol so it becomes MONEY FOR EVERYONE ON EARTH.

It’s a magical, almost monumental task. Replacing every fiat money with one incorruptible monetary ledger is something that doesn’t happen every day. Enjoy and SAVOR it!

Real Value is What Makes a Good Investment

So if “community” doesn’t make for a good investment, what is the actual key to the kingdom?

VALUE

Everything on earth is valued with some sort of measuring stick. The dollar is the most popular measuring stick, by far.

Large, dividend paying stocks like the ones mentioned at the outset bring in billions of dollars in return for their products and services.

Yet because of the amount of debt accumulated by nation-states, companies and individuals around the world, and ever increasing SUPPLY of those dollars must be created to keep the system running.

Its just the nature of a debt-based monetary system.

The full value of a dividend stock is pretty much baked into the cake. The earnings, growth rate, and overall financials have been around on all of these companies for decades, and their outlook well known by the investment community.

Hundreds of millions of people hold dividend stocks, and that value WILL BE DILUTED by money printing — its guaranteed at this point!

On the other hand Bitcoin looks to be highly undervalued, as it provides an escape hatch from the debt based system. Its a technological advancement, not a stodgy, traditional company with single digit annual growth.

Bitcoin money is different in that it can be held by the individual with no trusted third party involvement. Thus, a measure of insurance is baked into the investment that you won’t find anywhere else besides physical gold.

So how does this movie end?

Dividend bros will get crushed in real purchasing power terms, provided they continue to make decisions based on having the dollar as their unit of account.

You see…UNLIMITED DOLLARS are available, while only 21 million Bitcoin will ever exist.

Placing your trust in a government that has shown no restraint in the management of their currency is only a road to serfdom, nothing more.

Buy Bitcoin, dump dividends.

Jamie Dimon continues to double down on his Bitcoin hate, but who amongst us is surprised?

The JPMorgan CEO willingly let himself be Elizabeth Warren’s little puppet, testifying before congress and playing his “role” perfectly.

His recommendation to the gubbermint? Shut down Bitcoin!

Next, dude showed up at Davos and nearly cried on CNBC about Orange Coin.

When the hosts kept pressing him for his views he begged “please stop talking about this shit” after running his mouth about criminals, money launderers and terrorists and their love of Bitcoin.

So, should you listen AT ALL to Jamie?

Know-it-all or Know Nothings?

While Dimon undoubtedly knows a LOT about fiat, the Federal Reserve and its influence, and the TradFi system, he is either ignorant or lying about Bitcoin.

His rambling incoherent word salad about “blockchain not Bitcoin” in the clip above was taken straight from 2017, letting us know he’s still ignorant!

Frankly, in 2024 this is inexcusable. Technology marches on and individuals clinging to the old ways will be steamrolled. Undoubtedly shareholders and board members at JPMorgan are beginning to tire of Jamie’s ignorance about the greatest monetary revolution in history.

Even Larry Fink bent the knee, and quickly pushed his Bitcoin ETF straight through the paper tiger that is the SEC!

He did enough WORK to figure out the Bitcoin is REAL and it isn’t going away. Oh, and he wanted to collect a shit-ton in fiat fees as well.

Know-it-alls on one topic (fiat) continue to be Know-Nothings on the topic of Bitcoin.

They’ll continue to be decimated in Bitcoin terms as time goes by, but that’s a GOOD thing for you!

Ordinary Money and Its Absurdity

Today everyone worships at the Altar of the Almighty Dollar

A currency debased by 80-90% of its value since 1971, depending on the statistics you’re buying.

And yet people are still mesmerized by this fraud of a currency, masquerading as money.

To be fair, its the prettiest horse in the glue factory. But the death sentence has already been issued with the advent of Bitcoin. Now we wait for each currency to meet its end in the slaughterhouse that is the global financial system.

Amazingly, every other currency has been worse than the Dollar over the last five decades, and yet nobody really stops to think about what is going on and what to do about it.

Well that’s not entirely true, people do act in times like these, they just don’t really know why they act in the way they do…

Take for example, residential real estate.

Since the end of the gold backed Dollar, people have used real estate to store value.

This has worked magnificently for baby boomers, provided they stayed in the market. Those who didn’t buy somewhere along the line, and hold that real estate are now facing tough times as the value of their pension, their 401(k), and their pittance of a social security check barely pay for their basic needs.

A lifetime of saving, done in the wrong financial instrument, can lead to heartbreak.

A person could have saved for fifty years, putting their labor into bank CDs, money market funds, and even have a pension.

Yet be flat broke in their Golden Years in 2023…

Indeed, the Dollar is some shitty money if you’re trying to store value over the last 50 years!

Extraordinary Money and Its Power

On the other hand, Bitcoin is the Anti-Fiat.

Nearly every year Bitcoin goes up in value in comparison to its nearest competitor, the US dollar.

But it is far more spectacular than that…

Bitcoin lets its user send value anywhere in the world without some punk-ass bank getting in the way.

You’re probably familiar with banks.

These horrid, disgusting institutions constantly nose into your business, rape you on interest rate spreads (and fees), and still manage to get charged with fraud on the daily.

We all deal with them, and as long as the stench of fiat continues to waft over this world most of us will have to continue doing at least a little bit of business with them.

But the end of banks is near, and it can’t come a minute too soon.

Bitcoin ends the abusive practice known as banking, at least for responsible, freedom loving individuals that wish to sever ties with these parasites.

That in and of itself is a tremendous reason to investigate, buy and use Bitcoin today.

But ending banking is just a side benefit, there are more important things each individual must do in these critical years ahead - namely saving in Bitcoin for your self preservation.

A fundamental shift is happening, and your long term survival is on the line. You only need to look at the poor sap who saved in dollars instead of real estate starting in 1971…

That fundamental shift is happening now.

Fiat is dying, and there isn’t a thing anyone can do about it. Not banks, not politicians and certainly not head-up-their-ass governments.

Above we see the King of Fiat Economics underhandedly berating the public. His claim that “inflation is down” reeks of financial privilege and a total disregard for the lower classes struggling to make ends meet.

Yet, it is entirely predictable.

Krugman’s job is to make you think everything is OK. That the government and Central Bank knows what it is doing, and that you need to keep on trusting them.

Yet his argument holds no water when examined closely. Inflation is still running well above the Fed’s 2% target, it is only “lower” when compared to the 7% rate it was running at just a year ago.

Thus, we Bitcoin…

Deep down, Paul is not dumb. He is captured. He is owned by interests far bigger and more influential than you or I…thus he must toe the line.

As a fiat economist he must encourage the public to Have Fun Staying Poor!

He must promote the idea that the continued erosion of the middle and lower class lifestyle is not only acceptable, it is necessary!

Even if it is a big, fat lie…

Fortunately, technology and human action advances no matter the opposition.

What has it led to?

Massive wealth inequality, and the slow destruction of the middle class.

Bitcoin fixes this, but it will be more beneficial to the right people if it takes longer.

Lets be extremely clear on what the Pied Piper of Fiat Economics is calling for:

Stealing more money from EACH and EVERY hard working person’s pocket.

Bad enough the government taxes you to no end on your labor, but this arbitrary increase on the arbitrary target of 2% inflation will be an absolute gut-punch to everyone not paying attention.

Inflation steals from EVERYONE and hurts the middle class and the poor the most.

Without a stable currency, people’s thinking continues to move toward the high time preference, which kicks off an ever increasing doom loop. Tolerating higher “official inflation” (we all know unofficial inflation is already far higher) allows government, central bankers, and Wall Street casino operators greater flexibility to spend your money without accountability.

Opting Out of the Fiat Game…Rules Not Rulers

If it isn’t clear to you yet, here’s the simple explanation…

One game is pure fuckery. Government and central banks are in a world of trouble with the debt they’ve run up over the last 50 years on the fiat standard. They are rolling out their soothsayers like Paul Krugman to grease the wheels, insisting that “2% theft doesn’t quite work, we need 3% theft…INDEFINITELY”

You know where this ends up.

3% is just a stopping point along the tracks to whatever number they can get away with.

The other game is Bitcoin.

A fixed supply of money with established rules that can only be changed by consensus.

I believed it because I was born into it.

When you’re a kid you don’t have much of a choice. Mom and Dad dress you up for church several times a week and you go learn about God. When I became an adult, it was just the natural thing to keep on doing, until I finally had one of those moments where I really questioned what was going on around me.

Then my faith crumbled to the ground in just a few short weeks.

Most of it revolved around one of the core teachings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

That I would live forever in a paradise earth…provided I was a good boy and continued to follow ALL of the rules set out in front of me!

In the end, it all worked out for the best. In fact, I think it helped me understand a very important thing about Bitcoin — the idea that SCARCITY is important.

The Problem With Everlasting Life on Earth

At first glance, living forever sounds nice.

Plenty of food and water for everyone. Land, a nice house and like-minded people all worshipping God together. What could go wrong?

Well, let’s follow things through to their logical conclusion.

Everlasting life on earth means your TIME is abundant. So abundant, it slowly becomes meaningless.

I would be able to have as many pets as I wanted, even animals now considered wild would be tamed and docile, allowing everyone to be their own Sigfried and Roy. Plenty of food would also be available to all, unlimited fruit platters and vegetable spreads were the norm in Jehovah’s Witness literature.

While this all looks nice for a bit…it would get boring in time.

Maybe I would’ve enjoyed it for 50 years, or 500 years, or 5,000 years. But I was sure I wouldn’t be happy living for 50,000 years this way (or any way).

I figured out that there is a specific reason my time here on earth is valuable…

Because it is SCARCE! I have a limited amount of time to live, thus everlasting life lost all appeal to me almost overnight.

The same problem exists today in a different format.

The Problem With Paper Money

After I departed from the Jehovah’s Witness religion, my mind was opened.

Anything and everything was on the table. Lies would no longer be tolerated, truth became my mission in life, no matter the consequence. I was determined to not be fooled again.

Thus began a journey down the Bitcoin Rabbit Hole.

It doesn’t take long to realize the big problem with fiat currency.

It is unlimited, scarcity is not a factor in the production of paper money.

Oh sure, politicians and Central Bankers play the game of pretending they are restraining the production of fiat. But come any particular “emergency” the printer is fired up and currency units are produced to meet said need.

You only have to look at the Greenspan put, the 2008 bailouts, and finally the epic COVID money print of 2020/2021 to know that the guys in charge only have one tool in their tool belt - print the f*ckin’ money.

So because fiat is unlimited, it loses value each and every day. Sure some years you may only lose 2%, but some years you lose 20%.

That is why things with UTILITY like houses have become so overvalued. They are hoarded because they continue to absorb dollars that are printed.

Thus I discovered, like many of you, that fiat is absolutely worthless at its core.

It is only valued because of the mutual trust people have among each other and the governments issuing the currency.

And that trust is now rapidly eroding.

Bitcoin is the Solution to the Fiat Problem

This isn’t just an individual issue.

Nation-states around the world are wrestling mightily to get out from the oppressive thumb that is the weaponized dollar.

Gold has been a partial solution, especially for China and Russia over the last decade. They are stacking like never before, but it’s just a band aid. Gold can and will be manipulated as well due to some of its inherent faults. Storage and centralization are major issues hampering gold down to this day.

The real, and long-term solution will be Bitcoin due to several factors, but the one we are discussing today is ABSOLUTE SCARCITY.

Unlike fiat money, or the everlasting life promised to me by the leaders of the Jehovah’s Witness religion, Bitcoin has a cap on its supply.

21,000,000 coins for all to use, for all eternity.

This mind-blowing discovery has barely reached into the minds of humanity, but when it fully does a true enlightenment will ensue.

Cooperation rather than coercion will become the driving force for all humans, and no government, no matter how powerful will have to play by the rules.

It will be a beautiful thing, one which we cannot fully comprehend — yet…

We live in a world of denial.

People ignore facts put right in their face about the nature of their government, their politics, and most importantly - their money.

What will it all mean in the end?

Denying the Facts About Paper Currency

The reality of paper currency is clear as day.

They all fail

Some fail quick, some fail slow. But history proves this fact to be true. What you do with that fact is what matters.

Day by day, each and every one is failing a little bit at a time. Recently, the failures of fiat currency have actually been in the news, a bit surprising considering the media is a direct propaganda arm of government.

But the facts can only be denied for so long, and the message today is loud and clear:

“Everything is under control, inflation is coming down!”

While Jay Powell and Christine Lagarde preside over the last days of fiat, wise men are quietly and carefully stacking the rarest money ever invented.

Time is All That Stands Between the Bitcoin and Fiat Standards

Our minds are not wired to understand massive sea change happening around us.

Who would’ve predicted the internet would completely revolutionize business and social networking to this extent?

Those who cling to “the good old days” or “this is how we’ve always done it” get left behind, and quickly.

Massive retailers like Borders, Blockbuster and Sears destroyed in just a few short years because they failed to adapt.

Technologies like land lines completely obliterated by cell phones.

Fiat currency, soon to be absolutely destroyed by Bitcoin.

In fact, looking back historically for 13 years, it has already happened!

Anyone putting a few thousand dollars into Bitcoin very early now enjoys complete financial security, with their Bitcoin (hopefully) tucked away in cold storage as the revolution continues.

In time, this will be everyone. Banks, while probably still in existence, will have little power - they’ll simply serve their actual purpose.

Nobody will work for paper money.

Nobody will accept paper money for payment. Nobody will accept paper money even if it is GIVEN TO THEM.

It will be worthless.

Bitcoin is Your Head Start in the New York Marathon

If you’re reading this, you have a head start against 99% of humanity.

Yep, its still THAT EARLY.

When I think back to high school (circa 1991) I don’t remember a thing about money being taught in school.

This is intentional

The school system is designed to simply create worker bees, people who follow orders and don’t question them.

Entrepreneurship is ignored, rigid schedules are the norm, and questioning authority is out of the question.

But the tables have turned…

Today, education is free for anyone who WANTS IT. All it takes is desire and an Internet connection. There are no excuses for anyone, now.

Because “systems” last so long and don’t collapse all at once, there is confusion among most people about the fiat money system.

Acceptance of the idea of “that’s just how it is” continues among the general population. To confirm this, simply throw out the idea that all fiat money will be replaced by Bitcoin over the next 20-50 years.

Whoever you are talking to will look at you like your a damn alien, someone colored green and has pointy ears.

But this is your advantage, your opportunity.

Anyone who works a job can simply start Saving In Bitcoin.

Doing so doesn’t take much of a brain, remember its wisdom, not intelligence that is required.

Our worst financial decision are made in emotional moments, when we are either feeling fearful or greedy.

This leads to disaster.

Thus, if you approach every single investment with the mindset that you cannot stand to lose any of your hard-earned money, you’ll look before you leap.

Rule Number Two: Never Forget Rule Number One

So once you have rule number one down, what’s next?

Revisit and re-establish Rule #1 in that thick skull of yours!

Yes, Buffett emphasizes the concept of not losing money to such an extent that the second rule is to revisit the first rule. What this should tell you is that your capital is precious, and you never want to gamble!

If gambling is what you want to do, allocate a little cash to your entertainment budget and go to Vegas!

This speaks deeply to human nature.

We have so many irrational beliefs about our investing abilities. Not recognizing that this is a weakness can lead us down the road to ruin.

So tighten up your mindset.

But there is one neat trick that helps you in the Bitcoin Universe. Something that allows you to invest, and never-ever lose…

Change Your Unit of Account From Dollars to Bitcoin

Bitcoin is simply another form of money.

Everything from beads to seashells to gold has been used as money in man’s history. These items have pros and cons, of course - but one of the biggest problems with physical items is that they can either be replicated or mined.

While gold is the hardest of these items to find and/or mine, it can and will always be sought out as long as other people value that item.

Fiat is one of the worst items to store value in, as governments can create millions or billions of additional units at the snap of a finger. Right now, the United States is such dire straights, they are planning to boroow at least $2 Trillion dollars over the next year or so, just to keep the machine up and running. 

Yes this shit can (and will) get out of control very quickly once people wake up and realize what’s going on.

Fortunately for us, most folks are just too busy, uninterested, or unaware of the game the government plays. Nor the solution deployed by Satoshi nearly 15 years ago.

So as humble plebs we just keep on buying, and hoarding Bitcoin.

The truly mind-blowing thing is that we cannot be diluted by ANYONE once we have purchased and safely stored our Bitcoin.

So…if we simply change our view on “money” by changing our unit of account from the dollar, to Bitcoin, we NEVER LOSE MONEY.

Because Bitcoin is scarce, digital, has a fixed supply, and a known schedule issuance, we can completely rely on the Bitcoin Network to save us from the lunatics running the asylum.

Now…I already hear the argument: “What about the (dollar) price of Bitcoin?”

And of course, if your unit of account is the dollar, then you may get less of them if you decide to sell your Bitcoin back into dollars.

But that’s not what plebs are about…

This is a monetary revolution

In a revolution, you stay smart, you watch your back and defend yourself, your family, your friends and your community in that order. 

Nothing is going to change until change is forced upon the powers that be, and that happens when enough people stack enough Bitcoin and simply ignore everything that Clown World stands for and represents.

Because paper money is built on one thing, trust.

No trust = No money!

At least money issued by the government…

Thus, risk will continue to increase as trust erodes.

And opportunity presents itself to those paying attention.

Why Bitcoin is Risk Free…Provided You Understand

In the end, everything is money in one form or another.

Cars, houses, silver, gold, commodities, stocks, bonds, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and every other good on earth is something somebody else wants.

But they all have their downside. You must find someone else to exchange either 1) another good or service for your good or 2) accept some trusted form of money that you think can be used at your convenience at a later point in time for what you want.

The vast majority does not know yet that one form of money surpasses all others in its ability…Bitcoin. It will transform capitalism and spread prosperity to all four corners of the earth for a very simple reason - it allows people to transmit and communicate value anywhere, anytime and in any quantity…without any intermediaries.

Thus, those who recognize the opportunity can plan accordingly.

But you must know what you are doing, to avoid risk.

Study Bitcoin until you really understand it, inside and out, up and down, back and front.

Proof of work will set you free, forever.

10 hours to get your feet wet, 100 hours ‘til you’re waist deep, and 1,000 hours to swim confidently in the ocean while the waves crash around you furiously.

And if you want to go all in, the Michael Phelps method will require you put in 10,000 hours.

Not necessary for everyone, but if its your calling then you cannot resist.

When you truly understand Bitcoin, risk is eliminated, COMPLETELY.

When I look back at the absolutely stupid shit I’ve done over the years in the investment world, its a wonder how I still have a roof over my head.

But I’m not alone (fortunately)…because we’re all dummies!

We don’t have “6-12 months” of emergency savings.

We don’t pay off our credit cards every month.

We don’t have “balanced retirement portfolios”.

Hell, we don’t even balance our checking accounts.

Why?

I’m just plain lazy at times. We generally have the tendency to think we are smarter than the next guy on the street, and we decide to figure it out as we go instead of wasting precious hours on all that nonsense.

We have kids to raise, wives to love, and jobs to tend to so the fiat flows don’t stop.

But there’s one area where us dummies need to keep it tight, the Bitcoin game.

Bitcoin is Different - Dummies Can Still Win!

In so many ways, the one-time discovery of digital scarcity levels the playing field and rewards the wise, not necessarily the intelligent.

While our intelligence may be limited by our genes, our upbringing or any number of additional factors, wisdom can be carefully cultivated by study and application of principles to the situations we see around us.

Munger’s quote at the introduction comes into play at this point.

Careful study of Bitcoin reveals it to be SUPERIOR MONEY in almost every facet, with the exception of the length of time it has been around.

So what do “intelligent people” do with this information?

They try to trade Bitcoin, or they delve into “better Bitcoins” also known as shitcoins.

They nitpick at the edges of Bitcoin, calling it slow, criticize the supply issuance, and scream from the mountaintops that the authorities will shut it down (hint: if they haven’t by now, they can’t).

On the other hand, a wise one simply looks at the facts, and then projects what will result based on how human nature will play out.

Would You Care for Some Unconfiscatable Money That Increases in Purchasing Power?

Wise people see are things intelligent people do not.

The scary part is what intelligent people DO NOT SEE.

Governments are on the rampage, taxing and spending like no other time in history.

Inflationary policy is absolutely necessary for the charade to continue. In the past, this led to the absolute destruction of the middle class, as the currency lost value so went the fortunes of any who stored money in it.

Only those with hard assets like gold, farmland and real estate made it through.

And today Bitcoin is the lifeboat that will bring billions through the government sponsored destruction of fiat money.

So…would you care for some unconfiscatable money that increases in purchasing power?

Brilliance is Unnecessary, Long-Term Wisdom Is…

Wise people don’t overanalyze, once they have the basics down and know exactly what is going on, they take measured and consistent action.

A once in a lifetime, monetary revolution is upon us.

This monetary revolution will drastically redistribute wealth around the world. But to enjoy the benefits of the revolution, you have to be wise, for a really, really long time as Munger advised.

El Salvador will become Hong Kong, Michael Saylor will become Warren Buffett.

But it won’t be their intelligence, it’ll be their wisdom that prevails.

Plebs, fortunately are already front-and-center in this massive sea change.

But remember, I am a dummy, and you are too…

Use your wisdom, and your understanding of human nature and to get you to the other side.

Most in the world today do not take Bitcoin seriously…

Sure they know about it.

They talk about it, they have an opinion on it, and they think it is one BIG FAT JOKE.

The epitome of seeing and idea in rapid motion, and yet dismissing it completely - with no real rational backing.

What happens to such people?

They get wrecked…

Take a Simple Idea and Take it Seriously

Bitcoin at its core is a very simple idea.

Private money

Eliminate the government, eliminate the bankers, eliminate the politicians, eliminate the whiny losers who don’t want to work a real job.

Simply create a software program that people can opt-in and out of at their convenience, and see what happens.

It has been a fascinating experiment.

Mainly in that all those losers, politicians, bankers and government hacks have cried out about Bitcoin from the get-go.

As Satoshi so eloquently stated - if you don’t get it, I don’t have time to convince you, sorry (not sorry)

What all of these people have failed to do is LOOK FORWARD.

Things are always changing, usually for the better!

Look at the phone you’re reading this on right now! An incredible pocket encyclopedia that lets you talk to anyone, look up anything, learn about every possible subject, and communicate messages anywhere in the world.

People who have such devices actually think the MONEY would never be improved.

Well, its happening.

Why Ignoring Bitcoin Means Failure

Opinions, shaped by the government and their attack dogs in the media are being shaped every day.

Bitcoin has been ignored, laughed at, and fought against by the majority for nearly 15 years now.

But the bottom line is everyone who has ignored Bitcoin, bagged on Bitcoin, criticized Bitcoin, and underestimated Bitcoin is poor in comparison to “what coulda been”

Everyone (myself included) regrets not getting into Bitcoin sooner, investing more fiat into Bitcoin earlier, and/or selling Bitcoin too soon. This will only continue in an exponential manner as Bitcoin rockets through six, seven and eight figures.

Hard financial lessons, yet they will continue on a brutal scale until fiat finally submits.

This will certainly take another generation, possibly two. But the wheels are in motion, the train is on the tracks, and the phenomenon that is Bitcoin cannot be stopped by anyone or anything.

Treat the Bitcoin Idea Seriously or Have Fun Staying Poor

Billions are just starting their Bitcoin education.

It’ll be rough, especially for those who resist. What you resist, persists - thus you will see awful, ignorant Bitcoin takes spew forth from every corner of society for a few more decades.

Just don’t listen.

If you’ve done the work (1,000 hours of Bitcoin education should do it) your understanding of money, fiat, and Bitcoin will become crystal clear to you, just as it has to millions on plebs around the world already.

If it isn’t clear, put in another 1,000 hours of study.

Your financial future is at stake. You don’t have time to put it off, discount it, or God forbid IGNORE BITCOIN at this critical juncture.

Get in the game, or Have Fun Staying Poor.

Ever spend 15 minutes mentally spending your Bitcoin?

Sleeping Well at Night

The last three years, since I really locked down my Bitcoin stack into cold storage have been incredibly peaceful for me.

No worries about the Fed, CBDCs, the goofballs in DC, or what the economy will or won’t do in the next quarter. Just the peace of mind that dominates my mind knowing things are all going to work out.

I used to be a “financial junkie”

Always on the lookout for the hidden risk, the next big Wall Street scandal, or what 4th quarter GDP might mean…

What a waste!

Now, its just the noise in the background that pops up every once and a while when a friend asks which stock they should be getting into.

I simply smile and reply the fiat game is coming to an end. It might take two years, it might take 20, but I don’t have to pay attention to it anymore. I advise them to look into Bitcoin, and stop playing the rigged game set up by bankers and politicians more than a century ago.

And while I might still consume plenty of financial content, its for a different purpose. Its simply to determine how many people are waking up to Bitcoin, and how quickly they might be doing so.

And yes, my sleep filled nights are amazing, KNOWING its all working out in favor of Bitcoin - and all who embrace it.

Getting Rich in More Important Things

Knowledge is power, as they say.

Knowing Bitcoin will succeed frees you up for many other important things in life.

For example, a young man who stacks a tenth of a Bitcoin (or more) for his retirement in 20-30 years can put all of his focus on perfecting his craft now.

Maybe he’s an artist. He may not be wildly successful selling art for fiat, but he makes a living at it.

With Bitcoin locked away in cold storage, unconfiscatable by anyone, including the state, he can focus on what things are most important. Making his art, starting and raising a family, and escaping from the corporate rat race if he so chooses.

Options like this have been difficult to deploy in the fiat world! Currency that constantly erodes in value means longer work hours, and stressful decisions requiring a second career managing fiat financial instruments.

The World Changes on the Bitcoin Standard

Thousands (millions?) today already enjoy the same peace of mind.

They don’t have to worry about if the Fed raised rates by a quarter point next meeting, or if the Bank of Japan is tweaking their yield curve control parameters.

They just have to put a little bit of their labor into Bitcoin - week in and week out until they meet their stacking goal.

Then just wait.

It may take two years, it may take twenty. But Bitcoin is inevitable.

Ignore the noise from the dying legacy system. Buy Bitcoin, store it safely and go enjoy life!

I took a crash course on 401k’s back in the day.

The year was 1997, and I was looking for a job.

Merrill Lynch hired me into their 401k department, taking phone calls from participants across the country and answering their questions. It was very interesting, as I basically got to see the nuts and bolts behind several dozen 401k plans.

The savings vehicle has become a monster. Over $6.6 trillion sit in 401k plans, another $2.7 trillion sit in defined contribution plans, and another $11 trillion reside in IRA accounts. (Source, end of 2022).

There are certainly advantages to a 401k, tax deferral and tax reduction being the most prominent.

But like anything, the government attaches strings to your account, you basically take it on the chin if you withdraw funds before retirement. The government always gets theirs.

Personally, I have begun to wonder about the “rules” and “safety” of 401k and IRA accounts, mainly the tax code surrounding them.

It won’t be long til the government sees that huge pile of money, and decides for the “sake of fairness” that people who’ve accumulated a nice nest egg should pay more.

You know, “fair share” kind of talk. The government is always interested in you being more fair with them.

That’s why if you contribute to a 401k, you should STOP IMMEDIATELY and do this first.

The Scarcest Money EVER Created is On Sale Right Now

Bitcoin is scarce decentralized money which competes against dollars, yen, gold, the Euro and basically every other financial asset.

If you’re new, you probably have heard about it, but dismissed it as “fake” or a “Ponzi” based on what friends or the media have told you.

If so, here is your warning.

Buy Bitcoin now, and don’t stop until you have 1/10th of a Bitcoin - at minimum.

If you want to ease up after that, go ahead. But buying a tenth of a Bitcoin will put you in the top 3% of Bitcoin holders — FOREVER.

This is absolutely critical to your long-term financial health.

You may not understand it, yet. But you will. Everyone will.

There will not be a choice on saving and holding Bitcoin.

So you might as well get in now, while it’s on sale. You can get a tenth of a Bitcoin for around $2,600 dollars today, on sale from $7,000 in late 2021.

The Advantage of Holding Bitcoin Money Over a 401K

But why quit your 401k?

Because it’s just a savings account, one you may not be able to get at in a time of need!

With Bitcoin, you can always access it in an emergency.

No, I don’t recommend it. It should be the absolute last resort, and you’ll pay tax on the capital gain with Bitcoin.

But you won’t have to quit your job, or take a loan on your 401k, or be completely locked out - some 401k’s don’t allow any access.

Bitcoin is diversification - in SAVINGS.

You’re told from day one to DIVERSIFY, but they only tell you to diversify your asset mix in the retirement plan.

You need to diversify the types of savings you have. A 401k, some Bitcoin, and even (gulp, yes I’ll say it) some cash in the bank.

That way, you can keep on going without acquiring debt.

The Real Bitcoin Advantage - Rapidly Monetizing Digital Money

The real benefit though is participating in all the Bitcoin network offers.

Millions of people cooperate to make Bitcoin work.

Some mine it with special machines, others run nodes to accept and verify valid transactions. Most of us just hold Bitcoin, keeping some savings away from corrupt banks. Many also build products around Bitcoin or write code to support all of it. Finally, educators spread the word with the modern tools provided by the internet.

All of this is voluntary, creating digital money for the world one day at a time.

So it’s a good idea to get some.

Once you’ve secured a tenth of a Bitcoin, go back to funding your 401k if that’s what feels right.

But you’ll have some money for retirement that grows independently of the traditional system, helping you sleep better at night.

Do you beat yourself up over past failures?

We all do to some extent. Even if it’s just in the moment where we make a dumb decision, we call ourselves stupid even though we know we aren’t. The best thing to do is to immediately let it go.

We can then have clarity on what we could of or should have done differently. Nobody is perfect, and to expect that of ourselves is unrealistic. Failures in Bitcoin are common!

Think about pizza guy…he sold off 10,000 Bitcoins for a couple of large pies. But now it’s part of Bitcoin lore, an example for everyone about what we are dealing with, real money with real value!

Personally I bought my first Bitcoins back in 2016 on Coinbase. Of course, I had no idea what I was buying, and regret not holding those Bitcoins through the years. But I’ve learned, as have millions of other Bitcoiners who push forward today, dedicated to the cause of changing the world with sound money.

Here are 11 lessons for both newbies and hardened veterans…

1) Know What You Own - The Warren Buffett Rule

Getting into Bitcoin is a little bit like hopping on a bike as a 5-year-old and trying to get around the block that first time.

You’re gonna crash.

It’s pretty much inevitable, nobody naturally does something perfect on the first go-round. The important thing is to continue to educate yourself.

Bitcoin is a deep (and interesting) rabbit hole, every time you think you’ve got a good handle on it, something else truly blows your mind about the whole idea. Even after 7 years, I learn new things about it every week that harden my conviction.

In time, you’ll fully understand the core principles, and knowing what you own will intensify your conviction to HODL through thick and thin.

2.) Move in Slow - Bitcoin is a Marathon Not a Race

Anytime we learn about something new that can enrich us, we develop a serious case of FOMO.

Careful

Bitcoin cycles are ridiculously volatile, with several hundred percent gains possible on the upside, and 80 percent plunges on the downside. This is how it has to be, as the whole world isn’t going to just accept a brand-new money right off the bat.

The volatility is simply a mechanism, ensuring coins get distributed among billions of people in a semi-orderly fashion. Many early adopters willing sold their Bitcoin for large fiat gains, only to see huge additional upside escape.

A prudent way to get into Bitcoin is to dollar cost average. The 10x10x10 plan helps you accumulate over time, buying more when it is down and less when we are flying high.

The most important thing is to have a plan and work your plan. The transition from the dollar standard to Bitcoin may be volatile, but having your Bitcoin in cold storage will help you sleep well at night.

3.) Bitcoin is Not For Traders - Long Term Thinking

As Parker Lewis so eloquently stated:

Bitcoin is the great Definancialization

So many today are entranced by day trading, speculating, options, and GET RICH QUICK.

Meh..

The end is near for that nonsense. The only ones who have won big doing this are the big brokerage houses that trade stocks, bonds, and derivatives. Those who know how THAT game works and can consistently trade against a pool full of retail suckers.

Patience. Discipline. Long term thinking.

Don’t trade Bitcoin.

Accumulate as many Satoshis as you can, and prosper.

4.) The Price is the Price - Stop Arguing With the Market

This one is tough once you’ve fully swallowed the Orange Pill.

Logically, we know Bitcoin should be selling for many multiples of the current Dollar price.

But it’s not.

So don’t get cute. Don’t try to time the tops and bottoms.

The (fiat) price is the price, and that is a reflection of the collective knowledge of all participants on earth at any given moment. But 1 BTC will always equal 1 BTC.

If you’re struggling with your argument about the fiat price, meditate on this question for a few days…

What is Money?

When you carefully consider this question day in and day out for a few months, you see there are various forms of money, all in competition with each other at any given time.

Bitcoin is the superior money because of its qualities, and as people come to understand - it will naturally increase in value compared to everything else.

5.) Bitcoin is the Elephant in the Room, and That’s OK

After swallowing the Orange Pill whole, and perhaps dosing on another dozen Orange Pills thereafter, you may be inclined to let anyone and everyone in your general vicinity all about it.

They may not be all that interested.

And that is perfectly OK.

Bitcoin is the elephant in the room and one by one it will be acknowledged.

Most people are pretty uncomfortable changing a radical worldview quickly and decisively. So “touchpoints” are how you let people know about it.

The more people who reach out to them about the topic of Bitcoin, the better. Generally, people have to hear about something several times, then they finally investigate further.

Everyone has been brainwashed FROM BIRTH that fiat currency is normal and healthy for all…it is absolutely going to take lots of time, lots of new ideas, lots of teaching, and lots of patience to DEMONSTRATE this is verifiably false and we are on our way to something so much better.

6.) Bitcoin is My Slave - Not My Master

Wherever you came from when it comes to money and wealth, don’t let any form of money become your master.

Yes it’s exciting. Yes it is an amazing innovation!

YES! YES! YES!

But treat it as an exceptional tool in your toolbox. Money isn’t everything, there are far more important things in my life, and yours.

Together we can make those great things in our life even better, with Bitcoin.

7.) Leverage is the Devil

This one is tough personally.

New financial products emerge from the invention of Bitcoin, and it’s easy to get levered up when you are feeling extremely bullish.

Personally I borrowed against some of my stack in 2020-2021. All went well until it didn’t…

Now I wouldn’t say I got REKT, because I was conservative, but I wasn't conservative enough.

Don’t play around, don’t get cute, just stack sats and store them away for the long term.

8.) Stay Humble

The saying is well known because it contains so much unvarnished truth.

Nobody knows exactly where this ride ends, and the path it takes. It could be really quick, it could take 50 years. Who am I to say what is going to happen, other than Bitcoin will happen for everyone - in time.

Humility is not a quality promoted in today’s world which glorifies social media personalities.

So you have to cultivate that quality on your own, in private, and with intention.

Doing so will help you hold onto your stack.

9.) Don’t Blindly Follow any One Person in Bitcoin

Like anything, Bitcoin has its personalities.

Can be fun, but it wears a person out over time. At the core of all of this is simply a software program. One that people can choose to opt into or not-so-nicely decline.

Bitcoin doesn’t need anyone, the heroes of the past usually decline into irrelevance, puffed up by ego and pride they demand people listen to them as they pitch their own personal shitcoin, product, or belief system.

Don’t worry about anyone’s Bitcoin “takes”. Don’t worship anyone. Collect information from a wide variety of sources, use what is helpful and discard the rest.

Bitcoin, on its own is enough.

10.) Personal Responsibility is King

Nobody will take care of your Bitcoin better than you will take care of your Bitcoin.

Many learned this in 2022 as big “cRyPto” companies got absolutely demolished because of their shady business practices. Plenty of people who have (had?) Bitcoin now watch as bankruptcy courts oversee the distribution of any leftover funds.

What a mess.

But it could’ve all been avoided if these folks had realized Bitcoin is about personal responsibility and empowerment.

Having access to a money with NO counterparty and NO custodian should be looked at as an incredible benefit, not an inconvenience.

It’ll probably take another round or two of people getting wrecked before the message really hits home. It is unfortunate, but that’s what more than 100 years of fiat brainwashing will do to people.

They will continue to think a bailout awaits any time their custodian does something shady with their money.

Not your keys, not your coins.

11.) Nobody Cares About Bitcoin (Until They Do)

Another tough Orange Pill to swallow for some of us…

When people complain, and you offer them a perfect solution to their problem, and it’s met with rejection - it can be disheartening.

Another famous Bitcoin quote applies of course:

So much truth wrapped into eight little words!

The legacy system doesn’t care because everything revolves around fiat. Normal people don’t care because they are playing the fiat game.

So we must simply build the parallel system, and invite people to play when we have the opportunity.

Millions are now playing. Maybe a billion will be playing by the end of the decade.

But it really doesn’t matter. Everyone will migrate to a hard money standard when they’ve endured enough theft from the fiat system.

Inflation, taxes, Wall Street fraud and any political spending aren’t going to stop. In fact, they are going to escalate and the propaganda to cover up their ongoing theft from the population.

These facts by themselves ensure Bitcoin’s success, so we don’t even have to worry about it.

We only have to save, wait, and enjoy life!

Three years later the same house goes for just under $20,000, but plummets to $3,100 the next.

Again, three years later the house price skyrockets, this time topping out at $69,000…only to dive down to $15,000 the following year.

“Real estate is uninvestable!! It’s too volatile!!”

All the while, the happy homeowner enjoyed the house all along and has seen his equity skyrocket over a decade.

So it is with the hardest money ever created.

Bitcoin Melts Minds, Thus People Dismiss it Immediately

For a moment, try to transport yourself into the mind of an ordinary person looking into Bitcoin for the first time.

They first look at the price, of course. Prices are simply the best communication tool we humans have, and we make almost every financial decision based on its price, at least at the start. So they look at Bitcoin trading at $27,000 currently, and start their analysis.

One of two things will happen:

They will see it’s up from $0 initially, and think they are “too late”

Or they will see it’s down from $69,000 and say “Oh look Bitcoin is dead”

And then they go to Starbucks and get a coffee.

Yes, it’s kind of disappointing and sad. But we live in a society that does not encourage deep investigation, thinking, or curiosity. Most simply want instant gratification and to be entertained.

But one man’s failure to dig is another man’s gold mine - so to speak.

So it presents YOU an incredible opportunity to accumulate, sit, learn and prosper over the long term.

Stay Humble, Stack Sats - Patience, Discipline and Knowledge

Earlier it was noted people play the game of life base on how things were, and to some extent how they are.

This is where you gain the edge.

You patiently educate yourself while everyone else binges Netflix. You take 10% of your pay for ten years, and purchase Bitcoin with that dirty fiat money. And you carefully learn how to store your Bitcoin, away from the corrupt banks and financial institutions that beg for government bailouts the second their bad decisions are publicly exposed.

This is the way.

You don’t worry about drawdowns in fiat, because Bitcoin is a rapidly monetizing asset, Dollars can be printed at will by those in charge, Bitcoin cannot.

Neither of these things will change, their course has been set for some time, and nothing is going to change their trajectory.

So act on how things will be, not on how they are…
